Product Description
The Mixing Degas Vessel MDV-10-04 is an optional Install Parts Bag for DEL OZONE 25, OZONE 50 and OZONE 100 (previously named Eclipse). The MDV-10-04 works with variable-speed pool pumps.
When water flow from the pool plumbing enters the MDV-10, the ozone bubbles float up and accumulate at the top; pool water exits out the bottom and re-mixed with the main body of water. The separated ozone passes through a float valve and is sent through a carbon destruct which neutralizes ozone to be safely vented to the atmosphere.
The MDV-10-04:
- Works with Variable-Speed Pumps
- Dissolves more ozone into the water which maximizes chemical reduction
- Eliminates unused ozone (in the form of bubbles) from returning to the pool
- Prevents ozone from reacting with pool components such as covers, fittings and surfaces
- Prevents bubbles from gathering under the cover or inside the plumbing
- Utilizes a Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) Destruct Cartridge 9-0620 which destroys ozone off-gas

MDV-10-04 Parts Bag includes:
- MDV-10-04 Mixing Degas Vessel (where ozone and water mix)
- CO-0102 DELCHECK Variable-Speed Check Valve
- 9-0620 Carbon Destruct Filter (removes left-over ozone) - REPLACE ANNUALLY
- 9-0770-01 Ozone Check Valve Assembly - REPLACE ANNUALLY. Includes 7-1140-07 Ozone Supply Check Valve and 10' of 7-0594 Ozone Supply Tubing
- 2-0078 Hose Clamps (need replacements? We offer 7-0021 Hose Clamps)
- 7-1434-01 Injector Hose Barb - replace every few years when they get brittle, snap and break
- 9-1170-01 Eclipse Flow Meter (previously 9-0002E Flow Meter) - very rarely does this need replacing; typically when it gets lost

LoveYourHotTub/LoveYourPool has always been there for me when I have questions about my ozone system or need new parts. They will pursue the manufacturer if they don't know the answer to my questions. I really loved the MDV Parts Bag because it enabled me to do so many things with my system. I was able to replace my old MDV with one that works (the old one lasted 14 years), plus move the venturi outside the ozone cabinet and leverage the flow switch to control more than just ozone. All-in-all a lots of great fixes in one bag! I love LoveMyPool!
