How big are your ozone bubbles?  If your spa or hot tub has an ozone system and the bubbles are too big, you will have a strong ozone odor indicating the ozone hasn't been properly dissolved.  Undissolved ozone means ozone's not IN the water where it kills viruses and bacteria, and breaks down oils.

Strong ozone odors when you lift your spa cover also indicates ozone is not getting properly dissolved.  Undissolved ozone is available to damage pillows and fittings plus help degrade spa covers.  

Some hot tubs and spas need extra help getting ozone into water where it belongs.  If you have a Mazzei Injector, an off-brand injector, or your spa ozone is introduced through a spa jet, and aren't satisfied with the bubble size (should be like champagne), the LGM helps increase ozone saturation, and reduce ozone off-gas.

The Mazzei LGM takes ozone that doesn't get properly dissolved the first time through the injector and gives it a second chance to remix.
