DEL Ozone's In-Ground Pool Ozone Generators requires some basic, affordable routine maintenance to ensure sparkling water year after year.  

The 9-0770-01 Replacement Ozone Check Valve Assembly gives you what you need to protect your DEL Pool Ozonator from water backup including:

IF YOU NEED EXTRA PROTECTION FROM WATER BACK FLOW OR WANT A SMALLER STREAM OF BUBBLES, YOU MAY WANT A 9-0770-02!

Before each swimming pool season, inspect the Ozone Supply Tubing and Check Valve:

  • Inspect Ozone Supply Tubing for cracks, hardening or yellow discoloration caused by nitric acid
  • Make sure no water is present between the Check Valve and the Ozone Generator, as this indicates Check Valve failure.  Replace Check Valve immediately to prevent water from backing up into the Eclipse 

Summers are precious.  Don't waste time waiting for your replacement Check Valve Assembly to arrive...Keep a spare one on hand!

    I have ordered this product for the past two years without issue and have been very happy with the performance. However, this year the hose diameter seemed too big and falls off the ozoneator connector. I emailed customer service for help and didn't receive a reply.

    Note from LYHT: She was correct! The mfg used the wrong tubing on accident. Between DEL Ozone and LYHT, we resolved the problem, replaced the tubing, and it fit! Sorry about that, Michelle. Thanks for being a champ about it!

    Plenty of hose so you don't have to purchase more the next year if you trim it. Can just buy the check valve and replace everything the following year.

    Jenn advised that the check valve assembly should be replaced each year. She's right. and she has the best solution. DEL tech support suggests taking the hose off of the valve and checking for suction, etc. Replace the entire hose with the Replacement Ozone Check Valve Assembly. Simple and easy and it's a new hose. We do it every year - costs less than $20.
