The 9-1100-01 UV-C Lamp Replacement is for DEL Ozone AOP S (Sidestream) and Spa Solar Eclipse which are Ozone + UV-C Combination Systems.

Replace UV Lamp Assembly 9-1100-01 every 18 months.  Additionally, when the Quartz Tubes which house the UV Lamps becomes dirty, the ability to transmit UV rays from the Lamp are diminished.  Every 6 months, clean the Lamp's Quartz Tubes.  Download instructions below in our RESOURCE CENTER.

NOTE:  If Blue UV Indicator Lamp goes off before 18 months, CHANGE THE LAMP
NOTE:  If Blue UV Indicator Lamp still lights up after 18 months, STILL CHANGE THE LAMP!  The lamps have Mercury* inside the lamps which assist in creating Germicidal UV.  Over time the Mercury changes form, causing UV production to drop off significantly.  So, to ensure your water stays safe and clean, change the UV Lamp every 18 months.

"UV Ozone" and "Germicidal UV-C" are not the same!  The biggest different is UV Ozone oxidizes and Germicidal UV-C systems do not.
